I’ve lived here 25 years.

I send my kids to DCPS.

I’ve rebuilt schools for the unfortunate.

I’ve built communities from nothing.

I’ve built more homes in dc than I can count.

I’ve saved the city literally millions of dollars through my work.

And now I’m Jack Galt.
I read Atlas Shrugged when I was a young man. It resonated with me then but over time I came to see it as a little crazy.

Now the crazy thing is that I feel like I'm living the book out in real life.

I've made massive contributions to my city and they're driving me away.
I believed in this City when few other people did. I have invested millions of dollars into rebuilding it. I have literally saved the city millions of dollars through my work. I've lifted entire communities through force of will.

Yet none of that matters.

It's sad. and scary.
I've lived in "transitioning" neighborhoods as well as snobby enclaves.

I tolerated gun shots, murders, open air drug dealing, street walkers, trash, harassment, and all kinds of other shit for years because I 'believed in the city.'

But now there's nothing left to believe in.
To everyone saying, "just leave" :

I wish it were that simple.

If it were solely up to me, and it is not, I would have been gone months ago.

This transition will take time but believe me it's already begun.

First step, spend less time and money here.
DC rode a wave of re-population and investment for thirty years.

It's been the underlying force that defined the city.

It's crazy to think the tide has turned and we can pin point the exact time it happened:

May 30th 2020.
Not only is the city crumbling, which would be enough.

But two years ago the same city I served for so long decided to fire me because ANTIFA raised a mob.

I haven't just been quietly shunned...

They've specifically targeted me.

Doxed, swatted, fired.

And now self-exiled.
I'm not a complainer. I'm simply noting these historic events.

Personally, I take action.

I created a community of Men who share my values + we have our own network now that goes Coast to Coast.

I'm building from the ground up as I criticize from the top down.
