I magpied an idea of a standardised marking sheet for any extended tasks. Particularly GCSE questions. This really helped me focus and provide concise and useful feedback which positively impacted the students
Another great idea from my mentor was to time doing tasks, from marking to planning. This helped me realise areas that I was slower with and what I could feasibly expect of myself to achieve in a certain amount of time.
Asking a colleague for proof reading any model exam questions, shoutout @LMC2407 and @geog_martinr who wouldn’t know they were doing a big favour by a quick spellcheck/grammar check. I’m sure this thread could do with it!
