School and education *is* a social good. School closures should be the last resort for control of spread. We need to choose education over recreation. I can’t fathom why we would consider closing schools before bars.

And we need to prioritize investment in making schools as safe as possible for teachers, staff and families. Schools, like healthcare, are essential. Teachers are essential workers.
