why I don't like the last few episodes of Pose: a thread

spoilers for pose season 2

literally everything after episode 6 (in my opinion) is absolute garbage. in ep 7 Angel and Papi go to a club,,,which then they proceed to break a very very serious rule set by Blanca (one that Papi was kicked out for before) to literally just,,,don't do or sell drugs.

I get that peer pressure can be a powerful thing but the whole interaction was maybe 30 seconds at most and they were both convinced. Blanca is family to both of them but they just,,,broke that rule in less than thirty seconds.

secondly, how the Candy hallucinations were done were very sloppy,,,Elektra had hallucinations a total of three times if I remember, but Pray Tell and Lulu (who were both significantly more important near the end of Candy's life) either only had hallucinations due to medical-

reasons or only had them once at the funeral (for Lulu)

but here's what really grinds my gears,,,the use of an extremely large age gap (and a relationship between a supposed "elder" and a "child") did NOT sit right with me. Ricky's in his early 20's and Pray Tell is 45,,,and they had the most explicit sex scene in the show for what?

Even the characters in the show had a problem with it at first,,,and then it was just forgotten. especially by Damon, who was most affected by it, literally just went back to being nice with Ricky even after he betrayed his trust multiple times??? make it make sense

also, that one dude being left in a hot garage for hours in a hot latex suit,,,I don't know much about medical stuff but that motherfucker was lucky to survive.

I get that this show is controversial in many ways but I see most of this as just,,,bad writing ig. I don't know if I took it wrong or what but I enjoyed the rest of the show. just not the last few episodes.
