2. Yes women stand to benefit from GERD for sure, but let's not pretend GERD is the silver bullet for women's oppression in ET. Lack of access to energy is not the only thing pulling women behind. (መብራት ሲመጣ የሴቶች ጭቆና/patriarchy 'በድንገት' አይጠፋም)

3. Despite all this, I think women by and large give unquestionable support to the GERD, b/c even if the state & society often see women as apolitical, second class citizens - women in ET have never sat idle while history is being made in this country!
