THE STORY OF THE GREAT MYSTIC FISH DIAGAY!
West African Mythology....

Diagay was a giant fish who had a ring around its nose. Within the land of early Sungai, he was worshipped as a deity and struck fear into the hearts of many people as he demanded sacrifices and tributes.....

Congo Rogoshi, one of the early rulers of ancient Sungai did not have a son to take over his throne after his death. So, with much reluctance, he consulted the great Diagay for advice. Diagay demanded many sacrifices from Congo before finally granting his wish....

Diagay told Congo these words, "You will have two sons and the whole world will hear about them. Their names shall never be forgotten because they will be the most revered amongst the Sungai warriors."

Ironically, a relative of the royal family was secretly planning to take over Sungai. His name was Gana. Gana, with the help of two men from the east, led a rebellion within the nation. This was an easy feat for Gana as there were no obstacles in his way, certainly not a giant...

...giant fish. Gana killed Diagay and was praised by the people of Sungai. He was then proclaimed king and ruled over Sungai.
