Why are our aircraft performing touch and goes all over the UK?
A touch and go involves the wheels touching down, the pilot increasing the engine power to full and only partially retracting the flaps, accelerates back to rotation speed, and lifts off again.

Pilots will often practice a series of touch and go landings.
During these maneuvers, they will take off, enter the circuit, do a touch and go landing, then re-enter the circuit, do another touch and go landing, and repeat this sequence.
