english dub took all the gay energy from jigen and gave it to zenigata instead. also him going nuts and firing his gun in the air like yosemitie sam after cuffing that guy is one of my fav visual gags in part II

Generally I care a lot more about supporting independent queer art than desperately trawling for subtext in stuff made for a cishet audience and I wish people looked for crumbs less but I think there's a lot of genuine gay energy in Lupin stuff
There's also a scene in part IV at Lupin's wedding where Fujiko implies Jigen is jealous and in part V where a girl assumes Zenigata is in love with Lupin in kind of a weird meta way and he has a cliche no homo freakout
not a fan of the cheeky meta IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND?? stuff generally honestly (from part IV)
