i so desperately want y’all, cishet Black women, to sit with the deep-rooted hatred you have for queer and trans folks. because a lot of violence so many of us face also comes from y’all. y’all gotta sit with that.

i know that all of our energy (at least online) is usually turned towards cishet men, but the reality is that the common enemy is cisheteropatriarchy—built by men, but sustained by anyone who buys into it.

and i’m saying this as a queer and trans person who is fully aware of the fact that i have to continuously work through and unlearn misogynoir.

i often think about how majority of the emotional/psychological scarring i’ve experienced for my queerness/transness has been at the hand of Black women. like, lol, y’all often work in cahoots with the cishet men. & that’s something for y’all to reckon with.
