a cosmology thread

This world is built on the foundation of several fundamental rules and concepts which some have postulated to describe reality. One of these is gravity. Everyone knows about gravity and consequently everyone knows Einstein and his theory of relativity.

Everything we know about gravity is wrong, but not in some huge and earth shattering way. If I’ve learned anything it’s that truth and falsehood walk beside each other, with only a hair between them at times. Interpretation is everything. Let’s continue

Relativity describes space as this sort of fabric that is warped by mass. In this theory, mass bends space and time and this is called gravity. This theory built upon the work of past mathematics like Galileo and Newton to explain the movement of planets and the effects of stars

Now my interpretation and understanding of gravity influences my understanding of reality itself. So in typical form I want to reverse these ideas, and once they are turned on their head explore the ramifications

Instead of gravity and it’s effects being a consequence of mass, envision that mass is created by gravity. Instead of gravity being the force exerting pressure on space and time, gravity is space itself.

Gravity only exists in the third dimension. It is matter itself, everything material, everything we can see and touch is created with gravity in mind. Gravity molds this world. It’s the absolute and crushing weight of this reality.

This plays into my idea that the third dimension is the black cube. That material reality is this sort of prison realm that we must transcend and escape.

This is also the reason that all planets and stars appear as spheres in this reality, gravity bends them to this shape because this maxes out the amount of evenly distributed mass you can have on three axis.

Mystics and occultists have often described this reality as being very dense and thick, heavy with the weight of matter and Sin, and once a soul enters it finds it very hard to leave. In fact even bodhisattvas can fall so deep that they forget the very purposes they were sent for

This density, this thickness, this sin is gravity itself. Everything that it represents is a chain and a shackle, the weight of this oppressive reality, this cage holding our souls. This is the crucible, this fiery furnace in which we are tested.
