Inspired by the excellent work of @sywtta, we're starting an ongoing weekly thread of #soyouwanttotalkaboutmondays to explore some of the topics they've explained and their intersectionality with our primary mission, #BlackLivesMatter .
As the hashtag suggests, we plan to post one of these each Monday to give time for a discussion with you for the rest of the week. Hopefully, @sywtta doesn't mind, we thought we'd tweet first and ask permission later ;-)

First up in #soyouwanttotalkaboutmondays comes the origins of #WallofVets, which was inspired by the walls of mothers and fathers who came out to protect protestors in response to the Federal Agent Intervention that @sywtta discussed here.
Many of us were also inspired by the now-iconic video of Chris David ( @Tazerface16), getting beaten by federal agents for trying to remind them of the oath they swore.

If moms and dads were out in the streets to protect the constitutional right to free assembly against federal agents who had sworn the same oath to the constitution as we had, why weren't we out in the streets with them?
