I'm reporting in Portland tonight! A few hundred have gathered in the park waiting to march to a precinct. Shield training and mutual aid is happening as people wander around the park discussing stories and strategies.
Portland folks are milling around the park still. Groups coming through.

Crowd in Portland is marching en route. We stopped for a moment to chant Jacob Blake's name. Crowd is loud.

A residents house with a black lives matter sign slammed their door as we pass. Now that it's been over a few months white liberals in Portland are already done with the movement...
As we approach the PPA a chant starts "what do we want."

Some folks in bloc are shielding those at doors as they graffiti acab and others on the freshly painted PPA walls.

Semi small crowd. It's a Monday but I thought Kenosha would bring folks out. Maybe 150-200 here.

Tear gas deployed.
Assaulting and beating people. Trying to grab shields the cops rip them out of their hands and tackle and beat them.
Speaker on megaphone just non stop dissing cops. All the people in the apartment building are out on balcony cheering them on.
Lots of cops out, more stationed near by. The group has regathered and is marching back towards ppa.
Riot line waiting as protestors like up nearby with calls for shields to the front.
DJ LRAD reminding them its been declared a riot and threatens tear gas. Speaker sounds tired.

Resident of apartment is outside yelling at cops "we pay too much money to live here!" "your speaker is soooo loud" both said very flamboyantly.
Said he's been tear gassed in his home weekly for this entire time.
Crowd is moving away from line. Marching around it looks like.
Someone in a car yells black lives matter and officer sprints over and tried to hit their car for chanting support. Chanting support from a private parking lot does not mean you can be arrested or have your vehicle attacked.
Successful de-arrest and an officer getting maced and chased off.
Group is marching back to PPA. Shields in front. People energized.
Meanwhile cops at PPA are surrounding the building as group comes up. Small groups are sharing the news about the cops that got maced
The cops are freaking out over this leftover fencing.
Someone brought a drill and is currently taking off siding barricades on PPA building.
I tried to take a photo of the wood on the ground and people yelled at me and pushed me back saying "I can't risk it"
This is fair, I respect this. They are very good at not letting any media or press into anyone doing anything slightly unlawful.

A car keeps driving fast and aggressive towards crowd. They just returned again and then left.
Ppb pushes again
Officers arrest random group just standing near by. They did nothing except be there. Lrad has not announced any street closures.
Pushing press back from arrests to other side of street completely blocking views and chance of getting names. They pushed many members and I heard @TheRealCoryElia yelling about them assaulting a member of the press in violation of TRO.
This is the car that earlier tried to hit everyone. He pulled out some beers. Someone confiscated the case and handed them out to protestors saying "just don't drink and drive"
