There are so many BIG stories going on, it's impossible to keep up. For example, I entirely missed *this* until today:

In mid-July, hospitals were no longer allowed to report their data to the CDC. They had to report to TeleTracking, a Pittsburgh(

The NYTimes article says there are no connections between TeleTracking & Trump administration, but NPR says its CEO Michael Zamigias has ties to a group that financed $billions$ for the Trump Org. But everyone, including Congress, is being blocked from finding out anything about the details of Teletrackings contract with Dept of HHS (led by Alex Azar). So this company which has all of the US hospitals' health data regarding coronavirus is an opaque black box.

And looping back to the CDC, it is currently led by Robert Renfield, who claims to have been as surprised as anyone else about the data reporting switch over.
