A. So much. The amazing graphics and the unique hero skills. There's a reason there are so many women who play this game. But most of all how complete the game feels. It's really polished.

A. (Cont.) You can tell that when you closely look at the map. Even little props that seem to have no purpose actually have a use. Nothing is designed without reason. It's amazing when you find those little details.
Q. You're the youngest of the gamers here, how does it feel to be a pro
A. It would have been better without COVID. With Home-Away games, we would have been able to travel all over the world to play matches. Just imagining it is fun. It's also cool to compete with overseas pros.

Q. Are there maps or heroes you want added?
A. I play DPS but right now what OW needs are tanks and heals. I think other players will agree. I do want maps that are more suited to snipers. Because I'm a sniper. Is that greedy?

Q. What does your IGN mean? Sure it's not...
A. Yeah. It's the toothpaste. (Translator's note: GLISTER DO YOU REALIZE AMWAY IS A PYRAMID SCHEME!!!) I saw it coincidentally when I went over to a friend's house, and I'd been wondering abt my IGN. I liked how it sounds.

A. (Cont.) and I liked that it means "to sparkle." OW is popular in Korea and abroad so I think it was a good idea to use an English word for my IGN.

A. Idk but it feels good. I like attention. I don't dislike it when ppl call me an attention-grabber. That was true even before I became a pro.

A. (Cont.) Maybe you could say that I work hard at playing the game because I like the attention. It's the motivating factor I guess. That's also why I do lots of personal streams. I also like to raise the team mood as well.
Q. What are your strengths and weaknesses
A. I have a really fierce competitive streak. All players are probably the same but mine is really strong. I cannot stand losing. If there's a player better than me, I fight them until I win. That also comes with drawbacks.

A. (Cont.) Because I'm concentrating so hard on winning, sometimes I don't hear the team comms very well. I'm trying to restrain myself. Thankfully all my teammates are Korean so it's easy for us to communicate.
Q. What do you do when you don't game?
A. I watch OW youtube. I don't watch OW content to improve but bc it's fun. Like I'm watching TV. As a pro, it's awesome that regular fans, not just industry ppl, make a variety of content. It gets ppl interested.

A. (Cont.) Oh, also I've been exercising. I lift weights. The weights for my Big 3 workout are a secret tho.
Q. What does "jjonak" mean
A. It means "squishy squid." I was playing Maple Story in middle school and these 2 ppl were fighting in chat, and one compared the other to a squid. I thought it was so funny. Since then I've used "squid" as an IGN. I added an adjective so it's fun.

A. It's a FPS with unique skills for every hero. 6 people form a team, and teamwork is rly important. All 6 need to move as one. My personality is v individualistic but when we play I'm v team-oriented.

A. (Cont.) The fun part is finding the best play out of the countless possibilities out there. It's also important to maximize teammate synergy.
Q. I heard you're playing matches in your practice rooms bc of COVID
A. Yeah, normally we'd be playing in each other's cities in a Home-Away system. The hundreds of fans cheering for us is also a massive energy boost.

A. (Cont.) I have a tendency to play more boldly and confidently when I hear the cheers. Even when you're losing, if you hear that you get motivated, like "yeah! Let's go again!" The practice room is the opposite. No one raises your spirits.
A. (Cont.) I like to also celebrate exuberantly on a match stage, and once I broke my glasses doing that. I really want COVID to end so I can meet the fans in the arena again.
Q. What are your hobbies besides OW
A. Fashion, IT, cars, I'm interested in a lot of things. I look up content for that kind of stuff on Youtube. I used to buy a lot of clothes/shoes but nowadays I'm trying to only buy what I rly need.

A. (Cont.) I've said before in an interview, my fave is Balenciaga. I also like watching phone unboxing vids. Recently I've been wanting my own car, so my goal this year is to get my license. If I buy one I'd like a big cool one like the Genesis GV80. I want to sleep in it.

Tobi: Obviously my goal is to win the championship, but even if I retire without achieving that, I'd like to be remembered as a player who worked hard and played well. And I'd like to keep working in esports using my experience.

Glister: All the new players are all rly good, but the ones I think will continue to be good are Xzi and Sp9rk1e, who are DPS like me.

Jjonak: I think Seoul's on a 5 or 6-match losing streak? I think it'd be great if they extended that to 7, and then they can win the next match.
