Thread: Terrible result to start the 2nd round. Why were the Flyers overwhelmed in the first period? Hart kept them in the game but eventually sloppy D zone play sank them. Still no goals from the top scorers. They had some decent looks tonight but still didn't bury them.

Yeah they had a very good second period and created a ton of pressure and zone time, but if you don't finish scoring chances does it matter? They are now at a crossroads. Either put a full 60 minute effort and be ready at puck drop, or you will go home this round.

The Isles are a good team, but they are beatable. Self inflicted wounds against a Trotz team is a recipe for disaster. It is only one game and thats a good thing, provided game 2 looks a lot different. This is the playoffs, like I have said, a roller coaster of good and bad.
