I am sure many would disagree, but I think it exceptionally important to watch both national conventions, regardless of your beliefs and who you’ll vote for. The reason for which is understanding the difference in perspective (amongst other things.)
People who feel they are right assume others are wrong, but few take the time to consider why. There’s a reason someone believes in something antithetical to you. If you don’t take the time to digest that, you’re not being critical of your own logic.
There’s stuff I heard the other evening and this evening that made me mad, made me laugh & made me weep. In combination, they make me resolute, informed and in some cases challenge my perspective. The only race I care about is the human race. Hoping we all get to finish 😃
If you saw transcripts where the party references were removed and the names of the candidates were removed, you might actually have a hard time figuring out who was who. In closing: “May the odds always be in your favor.”
