This is a interesting MUST READ thread concerning Harley Quinn, Leto Joker, BOP, Ayer suicide squad & Gunn’s suicide squad. They ARE all connected in the same universe.

One thing that upsets me is that WB decided to break up & emancipate Harley too fast. They should have first made the Joker/ harley movie they promised us, showing us their toxic relationship before emancipating her. We need more context about their break up.

The SS is a evolution of Harley’s character. In BOP she altered some of her tattoos to reflect the break up with joker. In Gunn’s THE SS she also altered more tattoos. Her back tatoo from “property of joker” to “property of no one”. It makes sense after her break up with joker

It is 100% related. James Gunn statement was not interpreted correctly by many people and also taken out of context. I Will explain. But first, here is one of MANY official statements proving it is related to SS & BOP. See pic.

It a sequel like BOP is a sequel to SS. He cannot call it part 2 because it a new standalone adventure the squad is taking. It is not continuing the story of joker braking Harley out of prison. It a “fast forward a few years in the future” movie. Connected but not direct sequel.

That why it called the suicide squad and not part 2. Because a part 2 would have to continue from where SS ended (jail break). But BOP already fast forward past that. The new SS has to continue after BOP and not the original SS. So he is not lying when he says it’s not a sequel.

Don’t get me wrong guys. I love Ayers SS & I would have preferred Ayer made a direct sequel part 2 instead of Gunn’s connected but not direct sequel. The SS takes place after BOP. I was so pissed when I heard that Gunn replaced Ayer. I also wanted a Harley/Leto movie before BOP

I think Leto is the best joker ever. But WB made bad decisions we have to live with. But at least all these movies are connected. But, we have some hope. Since WB is making things right now after the SC, I have 3 theories of what can happen to also give justice to Ayer & leto

1) WB can either make joker/Harley movie ,which they had promised us, but make it a prequel to BOP, showing us the toxic relationship of joker/harley and giving us more context to their brake up.

2) WB can release the Ayer cut with all the deleted joker/harley scenes, there should be enough scenes of their relationship, in this case if there is enough content, they can skip the harley/joker movie. But only if their is enough scenes in Ayer cut to satisfy the fans

3) if they not go ahead with the harley/joker movie but release the Ayer cut instead, the question is, how can we get Leto back? Well, they can make a Leto/affleck movie showing us Batman and joker going head on. Maybe even explaining the death of Robin. Leto would be redeemed

@wbpictures @WarnerMedia @hbomax @ATT I hope one you higher ups read this. I have given 3 solutions at the end of this thread. Any one of these 3 would give Ayer, Leto and the fans the justice they deserve for the mistakes made by the previous old WB regime.
