Honest question: has anyone ever taken a supplement (vitamin/herb/etc) and noticed a direct benefit or change in your health from it?

If so, what was it?
(I ask this as I'm cleaning out my kitchen cabinet of bottles and bottles of various supplements I used to take over the years, realizing I've probably wasted hundreds or thousands of dollars peeing out expensive crap looking for a magic bullet)
Fascinating responses! I should have drawn a distinction on whether you are taking the supplement to help a deficiency on bloodwork (Vitamin D, Iron, etc). Clearly, in those scenarios, supplements can help.
Of the responses, magnesium seems to be the most common. Turmeric and CBD, though those seems to be more mixed (I've never noticed a difference...CBD a bit with sleep). Though I've also never noticed a difference with NSAIDs, so I don't take them...and they suck for bone health
For me, personally:

A good probiotic (surprised that wasn't more common)
MK-7 (bone health)
Calm powder (if GI function gets off)
Reishi powder/tea (calm the eff down...)

(Caveat: my bloodwork has always been normal)
