most of y'all know that the BTS boys have always been appreciative towards Taylor even before they officially met..

this is back in 2014/15, Taehyung had 'Enchanted' & 'Ours' on his playlist.. a Speak Now stan, wbk

In 2015, Jimin mentions 'Never Grow Up' as a song that never leaves his playlist. Now this particular fact also comes into play in the future as well because Jimin, does really love Never Grow Up a lot.

It's 2017 now, Jimin & Tae are still raging swifties. Both added 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' on their playlists.

In 2018, a member (probably Jimin or Tae) added End Game to the BTS Spotify Playlist. rep stans

2018, interviewer is playing a game where BTS have to sing a song by the artist mentioned. Now this is pure chaos but look at their range—
Namjoon mentions 'You Belong With Me', Hobi starts off an epic performance of 'Bad Blood' & Jimin stays true to 'Never Grow Up'

A 2018 interview, the question was a bit weird. Interviewer asks BTS to make their "sexy Skype face" but since it would be weird if they had to do it to a male interviewer, he put up a picture of Taylor, this is the result lmao.. Tae was excited

And, now for the best day in BANGSWIFT history- 20th May, 2018. The day BTS and Taylor Swift met for the first time at the BBMAs.

Taylor was the first to share these pictures, pictures that broke the internet. Like literally, Instagram crashed for a while after Taylor dropped these.
BTS soon posted their own pictures on Twitter, they mentioned Taylor first.

now lil backstory on what happened that day: usually when BTS go to these american award shows, other celebrities either call BTS over to their green rooms to take pictures or they just take the pictures in the hallway/backstage. Taylor, however, went to BTS' green room [contd.]

instead of calling them to hers'. She actually held up a decent conversation with them about their music, praising their style of music and concepts for videos, continuously. Namjoon was taken aback by her kindness & the other members also looked very happy.

Here's the short clip of their meeting. The original conversation must have been longer ofc. Joon & Hobi seem genuinely touched. Yoongi became so shy around her. Jin & Jimin had the happiest smiles. JK paid close attention to what Taylor said and Tae was just so excited!!

During the BBMAs opening, BTS were vibing to Taylor's 'Look What You Made Me Do' which was included in the host Kelly Clarkson's medley.
Namjoon seemed to know the lyrics as he sang along. JK, Jin & Hobi kept dancing in their seats.

That night,T won the award for Top Female Artist. When the nominees were mentioned, Hobi cheers for Taylor. Namjoon nods in agreement. When she won, BTS immediately stood up and applauded her. Hobi,Jimin & Yoongi share a laugh over the height difference between T & the presenter.

Post BBMAs, BTS went live and spoke about their experience at the awards.
Joon refers to their meeting, "Taylor-nim said hi to us." Hobi continues about how surprised he was when Taylor came to meet them and how honoured they felt.

At an interview panel that year, someone asks Hobi about which famous celebrities they met at the BBMAs & whether they had fun. Hobi is quick to mention Taylor first,while talking about meeting the artists he admired.

Now we jump to 2019 BBMAs, red carpet, Joon said he looked forward to Taylor's performance when asked about which performances they were excited to see!

Same day, now, personally not a big fan of this interview cause instead of letting the boys speak, the interviewer kept cutting them off with her own suggestions, question: "which artists are you excited to see?"
Nevertheless, the boys seemed happy when Taylor was mentioned.

Tae and Joon were completely enthralled by the set up. Tae literally has the biggest smile. Yoongi who is usually calm & composed, also bops his head to the music. Jin loves this song!

Different angle of their reactions! Hobi & JK are absolutely in awe of the performance. JK and Joon even sang along some of the lyrics. The cutest reaction goes to Tae, hands down. Tae's eyes lit up during the performance, he enjoyed it so much.

Remember, how back in 2018, Taylor said that she'll be cheering BTS on? Well, she certainly held up to her word!

BTS went live after the awards. Joon immediately mentions how much they liked Taylor's performance.
He first refers to T as 'chingu' which means a friend, Jin follows suit and says "Our friend Taylor".
Joon then quickly corrects himself & refers to her as "Taylor noona" (contd.)

'noona' is used by male to denote a female friend who is elder to them. Why I love this moment so much is because just a year back from that, Joon refered to Taylor as "Taylor-nim" (which is used in a more professional context) but now he uses 'noona'

A secret sessioner revealed that Taylor's favourite BTS song is 'Mic Drop' .
When Taylor had met BTS back in 2018, she had praised them for their astonishing work on Mic Drop saying how she was amazed by the music video and she referred to it as "the coolest thing".

Ryan Seacrest, a well-known radio/television and a friend of Taylor's revealed that Taylor is a big fan of Boy With Luv, which could be a potential fact given she's appreciative of BTS' music & also Halsey, who is featured on the track.

In July of 2019, one month prior to Lover's official release, Jin added 'ME!' & 'You Need To Calm Down' to his playlist.
Also, I missed adding, back in 2018, Jin mentioned meeting Taylor as an "honour and amusing" experience.

In October 2019, Hobi uploads his LA vlog. He is found listening to 'The Archer's by Taylor. Later on, fans noticed the sequence of the songs played & discovered that Hobi was actually listening to Taylor's Apple Music Playlist.

November 2019, in BTS' interview with PAPER magazine, Jin reveals his appreciation towards ME! He says he would like to try out a song like ME! in the future.

Back in July of 2019, Taylor had reacted to Jin adding 'ME!' & 'YNTCD' to his playlists by what is now, an iconic quote in bangswiftnation: "LOVE THEM SO MUCH "

Now this moment.. this moment is something none of us expected. It was completely out of the blue & to this day, you can hear the bangswifties crying because this video is just THAT precious.

In this i-HeartRadio interview, the boys were asked to choose the music videos they thought were the best. Hobi chose 'ME!' without missing a beat & proceeded to sing it. Namjoon agreed with his choice saying, "Yeah, I love ME! too."

In the same interview, they had to choose the best fandom and obviously BTS chose the BTS army. But Namjoon was so cute, he even apologized to Taylor saying, "Sorry Taylor!"

Now, this is one of my personal favourite moments.
During an interview with E!News, the boys were asked about who their dream collabs were, without missing a beat Namjoon went, "I love Taylor!"

Kim Namjoon being a swiftie 101, again. In an interview with WBLI, BTS were asked about who were their current favourite artists. Namjoon instantaneously mentions, "I'm listening to Taylor, still."

In a Grammy interview, when BTS were asked about which artists they would like to collaborate with the most, all of them mentioned different artists and Taylor was one of them.

I forgot to put this, during the rehearsals for their BBMAs 2019 performance, even though momentarily, Taehyung chose to sit on a seat beside Taylor's assigned seat. Idk I find it cute that out of all the seats, he just happened to sit right next to T's.
