I have a list of common kinks I like going over, to gauge both interest and experience and see where we match. c) Importantly, my list is NOT just my own kinks, and I have the subject give their opinion before I give any indication of my own. This adds an extra layer of protection against influencing their opinion (e.g. by being 'willing to try' something they're not actually into).

(I could do a whole other thread on power dynamics and consent and stuff, but this is not that thread, so I'm just going to leave a side note that this is really important to me)
