As NYCFC plays a “home” game at Red Bull Arena tonight, reminder that they’ve been a part of the league for over 7 years and still don’t have a stadium.

At this rate, they will play end up playing 10+ years in MLS without one.

It’s a joke, to be honest.

I’m not trying to pick on them and I’m glad NYCFC fans have their club, but the owners and executives who made such big promises have dropped the ball massively. There’s no sugar coating it.

They were fast tracked into MLS because Garber and co. wanted a team in the city and it was pitched as this massive thing, but their national TV ratings have been and fans who have been promised a stadium for 7 years are losing patience.

Just overall a missed opportunity.
