The latter line is important. I operate with a particularly keen discernment of right and wrong and an extra gland in my brain that generates a healthy dose of Catholic guilt.

Over all the years I have proudly been a registered as an R, and worked on campaigns, I have charitably disagreed with my Democrat parents and friends (and those disagreements flared even more during the age of the Clintons). 3/7
I have not had a lot in common with Progressives, either, but I feel I understand--they want to help people. That, too, is important. I have always firmly believed that no matter the party or group, Liberals and Conservatives across the spectrum want the same result....

We all have starkly different ideas about which path to take and how much (and whose) money should be spent on it.
This was true until 2016, when the GOP put Trump on the ticket and I could not bear attend the convention just 1.5 hours away-- and I thought I was angry then.

I've kept far too quiet about everything this despot and his phony, hypocritical, immoral, and sinful family and cronies have done not only to the nation, but to the party of Reagan and to the honorable office of the Presidency.

I won't be watching the huckster RNC show this week.
Instead, I am attending the Convention on Founding Principles. #cfp2020
I am not leaving this party--I am working to reform it.

Unlike the RNC, this is a platform based on ideals I can proudly support. @Principles_1st
