Right tomorrow it’s “on”, kicking off around 7.00 from the Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow statue, at Lennox Gardens at Lake Burley Griffin. If you’re out and about chuck us an “up the milk” or “yes Skeleton, YES” if you feel so inclined.
According to my research, the statue, aka the Flying Horse of Gansu, is a replica of a 2nd Century CE Han Dynasty statue, described by one scholar as a “remarkable example of animal portraiture with the head vividly expressing mettlesome vigor ( http://Wikipedia.com"> http://Wikipedia.com )”.
I could not possibly be more full of mettlesome vigour, as it happens
Currently experiencing negative mettlesome vigour
Last tweet in this thread I promise but it would feel remiss not to dedicate that run to my dad who we lost earlier this year and miss very much. He was a very good and funny albeit complex fella who helped a lot of people facing challenging circumstances along the way.
