Something new is in the works for the @blogTO podcast, which means no more daily Only in #Toronto episodes.

It's kind of bittersweet. Looking back over the past 472 (‼️) eps, this scrappy lil pod really came into its own, and covered a lot of ground.

Strap in, there's more 👇
When things shut down in March, I semi-seamlessly jumped into producing and hosting more daily interview content.

I say seamlessly, not to brag, but because it just sort of happened. This is not to say that it wasn't incredibly difficult.
There were many days where I woke up freaking out, with no idea if an ep would materialize for one reason or another.

And once an ep did come out, there was no time to pat yourself on the back. It was onto the next one, then the next one, then the next...

You get it.
However, one by one, day by day, I amassed a body of work, during a pandemic, all about my favourite place in the world, the changes it is, and was, going through, and the people who make it dynamic and wonderful.

So let's take a look, shall we?
March 17: Doug Ford declares a state of emergency in #Ontario as the province records its first #COVID19 death. I interviewed the director of marketing at @HotelXToronto on lost revenue due to the pandemic, and months before the #NHL moved in http://bit.ly/3gnu1Fi
April 9: Remember Tiger King? I spoke to Dr. Lentini from the @TheTorontoZoo about their big cats, and the problem with some roadside zoos in Canada http://bit.ly/2YuaQn6
April 17: After more than six decades in business, the family-run Italian restaurant, Vesuvio closes its doors. This was the second time I spoke to the owners on the podcast and they are SO lovely http://bit.ly/3gpi3Lo
May 8: Ontario sees a big increase in new cases of the virus this week, but Sidewalk Labs pulled out of their Quayside project, which according to critics like @twieditz is a huge win for the city, and our privacy http://bit.ly/3aZSaAz
May 28: This is the day that circles are painted in Trinity Bellwoods Park. It's also the day I spoke to Lulu Wei about her debut film There's No Place Like This Place, Anyplace. The doc was later named one of five recipients of the @hotdocs Audience Award http://bit.ly/34tJrFr
June 10: I went to public school with @ALTrekToTokyo, and he was always an incredible athlete, but after a tragic workplace accident left him paralyzed from the waist down, he had to overcome a new set of hurdles http://bit.ly/3j7mV9F
June 11: You want to talk about defunding the police? I spoke with @JoshMatlow about his motion to reallocate over one million dollars in the TPS budget to policing alternatives. We all know how this turned out, unfortunately http://bit.ly/3aTBcDS
June 19: @iDirectorX, the man responsible for like, all of my fave music videos was on the pod, and I was so nervous. We spoke about the increase in gun violence in the city, and what @op_pfc was doing to try and get @WeAdvancePeace to Toronto http://bit.ly/31rLng2
June 22: What a treat! Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, @Bhytes1 AND @StaceyMcKenzie1 joined me for this ep to talk about the first season of #CanadasDragRace

Not the best day to be bringing this up since RPDR's toxic fan culture is why we can't have nice things http://bit.ly/2QmXPak
I will keep adding to this thread, but that's enough for one day ✌️
