I don't think forced-birth advocates really believe abortion is murder. Like, deep down in their bones. Yes, they pay lip service to it. But if abortion is murder, the Holocaust comparison makes some sense.

You can't lobby your way out of a Holocaust. If you do, history will judge you for merely twiddling your thumbs while millions perished.

Clearly, then, forced-birth advocates themselves already distinguish between a fetus and a child. If *children* were being slaughtered by the millions, there would already be a second Civil War. So why isn't there another Civil War?

Because even forced-birth advocates know, deep down in their bones, that abortion is an act far more complex than "murder," that even they treat fetuses differently than children, ...

...that abortion is not actually the same as a Holocaust, that abortion is unique and found throughout Nature and has as many causes as there are stars.
