As parents are wondering about what online will look like, many teachers are spending their last week of summer stressed. Will they be bumped schools? Bumped subjects? Asked to teach online? Have completely different schedules? We can’t even really begin to plan for the year...
Teachers had to get dr notes to be an online teacher, but with the large % choosing online, there will be a huge staffing puzzle that must be figured out in 1 week.

We literally HAVE NO IDEA what we are coming back to.

This is due to NO PLANNING from our govt
Parents are worried and so are teachers and students. My last week of summer was meant to be spent away in the mountains, instead I chose to come home and try and get as prepared as I can for sept.

I need to completely change everything I teach due to COVID restrictions
But, if we start planning, there is a good possibility it will be all for nothing and we will be bumped teaching assignments, schools and subjects.

This government is an absolutely evil, vindictive government who does not care about the people who they are employed by- ABns
I’m addition, teachers are asked to come in and remove everything from their classrooms and set them up “distanced,” on their own time, before classes start.
We are also trying to figure out what childcare for our children will look like, when we can only take pay without leave, if our kids get the sniffles.
Oh-sub plans. We have a COVID symptom? Off for 10 days minimum That’s 25% of our teaching “quarter” for each symptom
I worry about my child. I worry about my ill father. I worry about the health care workers I live with. I worry about my own health (both physical and mental).

Have teacher friends?? Check in on them today. We are NOT doing ok.
