Not "cells from an aborted foetus", @abcnews. It's a *cell line* derived from a foetus, decades ago (1973!), and maintained in hundreds of laboratories around the world by, clonal reproduction. No actual cells are taken from any foetus to make the vaccine.

Words matter.
Don't need to guess; you can look this stuff up. Regardless of your position on abortion, no abortion during the lifetime of most people today has any association whatsoever with this trial vaccine.

Curious that the Catholic Church (and its Sydney Anglican branch) is more concerned about the ethics of a single medical abortion half a century ago* than it is about 4255 deaths yesterday from coronavirus. 'Right to life'.

(*Circumstance of which, guarantee, it has nfi about.)
Same Catholic Church that tortured thousands of children in its care for most of those 50 years, eventually killing many of them. Right to life.

...Then lied about that, obfuscated compensation, and did everything in its power to protect its 'best' from criminal prosecution.
It's ethically challenging all right.
