I don't have any interest in performing public grief for an audience. My feelings are actually not even the point.

The point is that Black people live under totalitarian conditions.

Policing as a system cannot be salvaged.
The persistent shootings, harassment, and marginalization of Black people and Indigenous people) are *human rights violations*

The fact that California can't handle a fire without incarcerated slave labor? That's an eco-totalitarian disaster.

Call it what is.
We shouldn't have to write, seemingly endlessly, about all the different ways these conditions screw up Black people's lives, even when we aren't shot, even when it's not our community or our family member.

Imagine something touching every aspect of your life, something total.
Imagine the authoritarian use of power disparities to totally impact every aspect of the lives of members of a community
