When we 1st started boarding 509, we left the Teaser blank, hoping the right opening would come to us. Looking at Jimmy& #39;s escape from the desert, we realized we were missing: what is Kim feeling about his disappearance? Which led us back to split-screen...
1st page of 509 "Bad Choice Road."
Not much dialogue in opening, so job is to not make descriptions of scenes so dense that it& #39;s unreadable, but to have enough detail so that all departments know what& #39;s needed for the scenes.

Page 2. No right-or-wrong rules. Different style preferences for different shows. If you want to write screen directions, a type of lens, an angle, whatever, to tell your story, then do it (unless you work for a showrunner who has a particular preference... then do it THEIR way!)
Pages 3 & 4. Pages average about 1 minute of screen time, but the split screen description was longer than what eventually appeared on screen.
For anyone who wants to read the #BetterCallSaul 509 "Bad Choice Road" Teaser in one run without the notes.
