We are 71 days out from the election. Young organizers have been putting in the WORK nonstop in advance of Nov - and yes this started BEFORE the complications of COVID made everything more difficult. 2/

Young ppl have been hustling to educate their peers on how to navigate VBM w the added challenges of college campuses dropping the ball on keeping students safe. 3/

But a funder with no stake in this game has no business trying to jump into this news cycle. Care about students & voting? Pony up. @alliance4youth @SLSVCoalition @CampusVote @AndrewGoodmanF & others lead these efforts yearrround. 4/

Yes this research is fine & informative - although it would have been more powerful if connected to the orgs doing the work & frankly a lot of this research already exists! - but WOW what an example of what is broken with philanthropy. 5/
