So I had £25 to spend in IKEA for my Reception class. I'm always interested to see what others have bought so thought I would make a little thread of what I bought!! #edutwitter #EYtagteam #eytwittertagteam
First up I got 2 of these Baggmuck shoe mats. Perfect for messy play, investigations, small world set ups.. the list is endless!
Next I got a Rorslev mat. I'd seen a lot of people cutting these up to use as tens frames, so that's exactly what I plan to do!
My main goal for today was to get these. I already have a Lack table and big Lego board so I'm now going to use these to make a Lego table. I got 6 pots so they can sort the Lego by colours.
Then I got an Ordning cutlery pot, but to use upside down for spaghetti, pipe cleaners etc for funky fingers!
Also for funky fingers I got 2 of these Ostbit tongs. They were more resistant than the plastic tweezers we already have and look nicer too

I couldn't resist this little pan for the home corner (glue stick for scale
). I'm trying to add more 'real' items to the home corner this year! Plus on Pancake Day the children can see their pan in action

Last but not least I got 4 of these Bintje plant pots, but to use as pen pots in the writing area. The yellow and red caddy's we have are a bit bright for my liking and thought these would be a welcome addition!
A bit of a small/boring haul but a haul all the same! Hope it's given a bit of inspiration!
