Listen. Part of the reason I go so hard about queerphobia is bc everyday more LGBTQ+ come out. Many more stay in the closet bc queerphobia still exists and is a very real physical threat to way too many. Everyday a LGBTQ+ commits suicide or is harmed/killed. Language matters.

I have witnessed and been the victim of way too many hate crimes/assaults. Do you know there’s still states that don’t have hate crime laws? When you say queerphobic things .. you can bet someone hears you and will retaliate against a LGBTQ+ person bc of it.

It’s not just fun and games. Lives really are harmed/ended bc of it.
