1. UEFA have awarded KÍ the win in the twice postponed tie vs Slovan Bratislava (SB).

An SB player tested positive in Slovakia and didn't travel. The team doctor then tested positive once in the Faroes.

The Faroese authorities put them all into quarantine, postponing the game.
2. The tie was rescheduled for Friday, and SB cobbled together a 2nd team to play the match. The players who travelled tested negative in Slovakia, but one tested positive once in the Faroes.

Again, the squad was put in quarantine and the game was called off the Faroese.
3. The Bratislava players returned to Slovakia, where the other players all tested negative again.

They argued that the game shouldn't have been called off, and KÍ should forfeit because the local authorities prevented the match from going ahead.
4. UEFA sided with KÍ. It's hard not to feel sympathy with Bratislava. But, at the same time, the Faroes need to consider their own public health. There are no easy answers here.

UEFA also gave Lincoln Red Imps the win vs Prishtina - the Kosovans had 15 positives in Gibraltar.
5. What the whole episode highlights is just how stupid something like Bolingoli's trip to Spain was, and how damaging such stupidity could be for Celtic.

One positive result for anyone in our 'bubble' could cost us a European tie, and millions of pounds.
