The story of Hansi Flick so far - a thread. Enjoy!
His manegerial story at Bayern began in summer 2019. Bayern's head coach at that time - Niko KovaÄŤ - had wanted Hansi Flick as Bayern's co-trainer, and the board had accepted his wish. Flick was appointed as co-trainer of FC Bayern.
When he first came as co-trainer I was happy and was thinking “Nice, we have a World Cup winner in the coaching squad. He has good experience”. Even when the camera showed Flick and Kovac together in the seats, I was thinking “lets win so Flick has a good winning record together”
Even though there was an improvement even when he came as co-trainer, things were going in decline over time for KovaÄŤ's Bayern, and eventually the club and KovaÄŤ parted ways. The team had 2 important games vs Olympiakos and BVB, so Flick became interim coach for the time being.
When KovaÄŤ had parted ways, there were fans who wanted Mourinho to replace him, Erik ten Hag to replace him, Pochettino to replace him. But Hansi Flick was ready to prove himself.
Flick's first 45 minutes as (interim) head-coach against Olympiakos was in terms of attacking good, but his improvement defensively was even more noticable. Bayern scored 2 goals eventually and won the match. Most of the fans were happy.
His 2nd game was against BVB, and he gave Davies time at LB, and Davies didn't dissapoint his coach. Davies had showed light in the past few months, but his first great performance in a big match came under Flick. Bayern won 4-0 and many fans started to want Flick permanently.
The Bayern board and the fans saw the light in Hansi Flick - not only because of his result bringing ability, but also because of the way he improved the team's playing style. This was a reason for why Bayern fans wanted him in permanently.
After time, Flick lost his first match against Leverkusen - despite FCB playing a good game, and the same thing happened against Gladbach. The team was playing good, but it could be much better. Flick aimed at improving the team. Fans were still hopeful that Flick would be good.
Bayern won against Spurs (3-1) and Flick won again, after 2 losses. In the 6-1 victory of Bremen, the improvement of Flick's tactics were noticable. Even though his first few games were good, the wins after the 2 losses were better, and those wins showed his potential.
The fact that he improved many players were noticable. Boateng, MĂĽller, Alaba (at CB) showed big improvements under Flick. Zirkzee also improved a lot and scored matchwinning goals. Game after game, the trust by fans was increasing. He made a good start to 2020 by beating Hertha.
He won all of the games until April 2020 except the Leipzig draw, and the “pen” Rummenigge gifted him was used by Flick to finally sign a long term contract. The wish of fans that Flick stayed for a long term at Bayern was now reality.
He won the rest of the Bundesliga games in 19-20 after the Corona-break, and won Bayern another meisterschale! It was fully deserved, and all of the fans were supporting Flick. He also was improving himself throughout the season and his tactics became even better.
Also after defeating Leverkusen, Bayern won the DFB Pokal, and that was Flick's second double in his career. One as a player, one as a coach - he became the first German to win the double both as coach and player.
He was breaking records over records in the 19-20 Bundesliga season and is right now the coach with the highest ever PPM and win-rate in Bayern's history!
After these domestic successes, the team earned a small break. After the break, the CL started again. Also Flick won the “BILD Trainer des Jahres” award.
Flick's Bayern knocked out Chelsea with and impressive 7-1 aggregate win, and went to the quarterfinals. Barcelona was Bayern's opponent, and Bayern's 8-2 win in a single leg was a big surprise for everyone, and it showed 2020 Bayern's and Flick's quality
Flick's Bayern also defeated Lyon, and went to the Champions League final - for the first time in 7 years!
His Bayern defeated PSG 1-0 and won the treble for the 2nd time in it's history! The wait for the club was worth it. Hansi Flick had written history. He made Bayern fans proud of the club.

TRIPLE SIEGER, TRIPLE SIEGER; HEY HEY!
