If you want to earn that much money,
You need to go very deep into one high ROI skill.

By deep,
I mean investing 100s of hours in learning and practicing it.

3 high ROI skills:
1. Direct response Copywriting
2. Media Buying
3. Designing
This thread is about Copywriting.

Let's get started 😃👇

Make sure your headline grabs attention.

On the average, five times as many people
read the headline as read the body copy.

Headlines are what
draws your customer in.

They should
• Be useful
• Be urgent
• Be unique
• Be ultra-specific
A good way to attract curiosity in your headlines is by using numbers,
for example:
“13 things you … “, or “9 types of …”

You need to use your headline as an attention grabber

⚠️ Warning⚠️
Don't make it clickbait.
The Big Idea
Here is what David Ogilvy says:

- Did it make me gasp when I first saw it?
- Did I wish I had thought of it myself?
- Is it unique?
- Does it fit the strategy to perfection?
- Could it be used for 30 years?

The more 'yes' you can get
The better your idea is.
Tell a story
Storytelling can be very powerful.

Give the reader a ray of hope.
Show passion.
Spark curiosity

You need to make them curious about what will happen next.

To make them keep reading.

To maintain the interest you generated in your headline (hopefully).

Why?

If their attention gets diverted to something else,
They could ditch you in a second.
• Use sinple words.

• Be clear with what you say

•Write directly to your reader.

Use
- You
- Your

Instead of
- Their
- Our
- Them

It's more about them than its about you.

A brief introduction and a small story of how the product/service helped you.

That's it.
Make the reader imagine using your products.

How?

Using visually appealing & imagery words.

Using adjectives that force them to subconsciously think about it.
Use powerful words.

Which generate response active or passive from the reader.

You want the reader to think.
About your product.

The 5 most persuasive words in the English language
• You
• Free
• Because
• Instantly
• New

- Exclusive
- Secret
2 common formulas to structure your copy well:

1. PAS
• Problem
Describe the problem and the pains.

• Agitate
Remind your
prospect how much they hate it.

• Solution
Offer your product/service as the solution
AIDA

Attention: Grab your prospects attention by making a big claim or statement.

Interest: Hook their interest.

Desire: Make them imagine their life with your product

Action: Tell them what you expect them to do now.
Here is the formula that I love by @andy_mukolo
Make your prospect feel special.

Make them feel like they are the only one
that this offer is made for.
Offer high value.

While selling a product or service,

it helps to add 'bonuses' to make the offer more appealing.

If you are selling a digital product, like an ebook

You could divide the same ebook into 4 parts.

Make one part the main ebook,
And rest bonuses.
If it's a physical product
Try to add to following:
• Free shipping
• 1 year Warranty

A good upsell here could be seeking an extended warranty of 6 months for some extra charges.
Take away the risk from customer

How?

In a certificate,
Add a money back gaurantee.

Eliminate the buyers remorse as much as you can.
Maintain swipe files.

Collect
- Good headlines
- Subject lines
- Strong sentences
- CTAs
- Bullets/Lists
You could also
- Print your copy and read it out aloud.
- Make someone out of your niche to read the copy.

Use sendcheckit(dot)com to analyse good headlines.

P.S check out @oliviercantin course.
I learnt this there.
You need to have
• 1 idea
• 1 story
• 1 core emotion
• 1 offer
• 1 CTA

A single CTA is often overlooked and less talked about.

I have seen people asking 4 different CTA buttons in a single page.

This ruins their conversion rate.
Remember

If you are able to give them free value in your sales copy,
You will have a better CR.
The point is
You won't start earning $100s after reading this thread.

Then what do I do?
