Sure.

Liberalism is free markets, representative democracy, individual liberty, and equality under the law. Sounds pretty okay on paper, right? Not great, but pretty okay.

Free markets require private property, so laws protect the interests of capitalists over the working class.

Hungry person breaks into store to get food, they are arrested. Under lib law, their interests are not equal to those of the capitalists.

Wealth & power accumulate for capitalists, who then buy off politicians, who write laws that help them accumulate more capital.

So liberal representative democracy becomes more representative of the capitalist class than the working class (and therefore less democratic, imo).
