Since Pajeets and Islamophobes love posting these two pictures that they probably got from their auntieâs WhatsApp, I made a thread to refute/explain each verse. Theyâve all been taken out of context + some of them arenât even in the verse.
[2:191]
Reading the verse before and after it shows how itâs about fighting back. Itâs not just some verse that tells people âgo kill the non believersâ, it clearly states âIF they fight youâ. Check the last picture for more.

As you can see from the tafsir that the disbelievers referred to in this verse were hypocrites, and who in their right mind would be friends with a hypocrite? Also, of course you wouldnât be friends with someone that talks bad about your beliefs.

Just like any religion, the belief of their religion being the right one is there. What would be the point if it said something like: âIf you want, you can be a Jew or a Christian.â What would be the point of the religion then? A stupid argument again.

It has nothing to do with if they âcriticizeâ Islam as you can see from the tafsir below.

Also, if you read the verse after it [5:34] youâll see how itâs the same case with the first one. Always taken out of context + they never read the verse after it.
[8:12]
It doesnât say âterrorize and behead those who believe in other scriptures.â This was during the Battle of Badr where the Muslims were outnumbered and any person with a logical mindset wouldnât even ask this but when youâre in a war, you fight. Common sense.

[8:60]
âMuslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidelsâ is nowhere to be found in this verse. You can see from the translation below, it was during the war and like the previous one, when youâre in a war, you donât just sit back and smile like an idiot, you fight back.

This verse was revealed unto the Prophet PBUH while the Islamic followers were engaged in the Battle of Tabuk. The battle was fought as a retaliation against the buildup attack on the city of Madinah by Byzantine Empire in the year 629.

If only these people read the verses after theyâd understand that itâs talking about the punishment in the hellfire and NOT what Muslims are supposed to do to the unbelievers.

As you can see, itâs the same thing as the verses [8:12] and [8:60].

I tried my best to explain it but if I made a mistake with anything, please correct me. Quran verses are often taken out of context just to make Islam look bad and you can easily search up the tafsir of each verse and youâll see that itâs not what theyâre making it seem like.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
