Refutation of some of the most commonly misunderstood and misused Quran verses đŸ§”
Since Pajeets and Islamophobes love posting these two pictures that they probably got from their auntie’s WhatsApp, I made a thread to refute/explain each verse. They’ve all been taken out of context + some of them aren’t even in the verse.
[2:191]
Reading the verse before and after it shows how it’s about fighting back. It’s not just some verse that tells people “go kill the non believers”, it clearly states “IF they fight you”. Check the last picture for more.

[3:28]
As you can see from the tafsir that the disbelievers referred to in this verse were hypocrites, and who in their right mind would be friends with a hypocrite? Also, of course you wouldn’t be friends with someone that talks bad about your beliefs.

[3:85]
Just like any religion, the belief of their religion being the right one is there. What would be the point if it said something like: “If you want, you can be a Jew or a Christian.” What would be the point of the religion then? A stupid argument again.
[5:33]
It has nothing to do with if they “criticize” Islam as you can see from the tafsir below.
https://www.islamicstudies.info/tafheem.php?sura=5&verse=33&to=34
Also, if you read the verse after it [5:34] you’ll see how it’s the same case with the first one. Always taken out of context + they never read the verse after it.
[8:12]
It doesn’t say “terrorize and behead those who believe in other scriptures.” This was during the Battle of Badr where the Muslims were outnumbered and any person with a logical mindset wouldn’t even ask this but when you’re in a war, you fight. Common sense.
[8:60]
“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels” is nowhere to be found in this verse. You can see from the translation below, it was during the war and like the previous one, when you’re in a war, you don’t just sit back and smile like an idiot, you fight back.
This one’s funny
Yes, you are stupid for not being able to get the verse right smh đŸ€ŠđŸ»â€â™€ïž
[9:5] Islamophobes favorite â˜ș
This verse was revealed unto the Prophet PBUH while the Islamic followers were engaged in the Battle of Tabuk. The battle was fought as a retaliation against the buildup attack on the city of Madinah by Byzantine Empire in the year 629.
Let’s look at the verse after it too since some people are too lazy to read the context.
[9:30]
[9:123]
Adjacent to you ≠ your neighbors

[22:19]
If only these people read the verses after they’d understand that it’s talking about the punishment in the hellfire and NOT what Muslims are supposed to do to the unbelievers.
[47:4]
As you can see, it’s the same thing as the verses [8:12] and [8:60].

I tried my best to explain it but if I made a mistake with anything, please correct me. Quran verses are often taken out of context just to make Islam look bad and you can easily search up the tafsir of each verse and you’ll see that it’s not what they’re making it seem like.
