I am thoroughly sick of white women acting as though Black Lives Matter is in competition with women’s rights, an approach to feminist politics that actively marginalises Black women.

There’s not a finite amount of liberation to go around. Freedom isn’t a pizza with limited number of slices. “If Black women were free, it would mean that everyone else would have to be free since our freedom would necessitate the destruction of all the systems of oppression.“

We have got to stop bringing this mentality of scarcity and competition to liberation politics. These things are the master’s tools, and they will never dismantle the master’s house.
