Ukrainian forensics chief Alexander Ruvin suggested from evidence obtained that passengers on Flight PS752 were out of their seats before two missiles hit the plane outside Tehran in early January.
4)
"When the plane takes off, all passengers are fastened. It rose to an altitude of 2,000 meters. Until the plane rises to an altitude of 8,000 meters, the announcement that passengers should be fastened, does not turn off. So, everyone had to be fastened," Ruvin said.

6)
"And [yet] we saw the corpses of the dead lying on the ground, without seats…if the people were fastened, they would fall with their seats, as was the case with passengers of [shot-down] flight MH17 [in Ukraine]," he added.

More footage from the site the morning after.
8)
"And what we saw in Iran means that there was already panic on the plane. There is reason to believe that it was burning inside and through the holes, black smoke came out," the Ukrainian forensics chief continued.
9)
The Iranian side immediately went to remove all parts of the downed aircraft from the crash site while still allowing people into the grounds, Ruvin added.

Several mobile phones & tablets belonging to the 176 deceased were taken from the Ukrainian team by the Iranians.

"We did not find the lower part of the plane, we found only four seats, and the plane had 167 people plus crew," the Ukrainian forensics chief added.
13)
Reminder:
On January 9, just one day after the plane was shot down, Iran’s own state reported the black boxes are “intact” and the “data can be downloaded.”

This contradicts the Defense Minister’s claim.
14)
On May 18, Ukraine said it would take the case to the UN International Court of Justice (ICJ) if negotiations with Iran over the incident did not progress satisfactorily.
16)
“It is thus evident that the second missile was fired when the pilots were trying to return the aircraft back to the airport. We now need to know why the operators of the air defense unit fired a second missile…”
17)
“Our important questions regarding the reason for the delayed takeoff and the pilot’s communications within that hour, which should have been included in the report of the black boxes, have also been left conspicuously unanswered.”
19)
Let’s take a step back:

On January 8, Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 took off from Khomeini International Airport in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Just minutes later the plane crashed, leaving all 176 onboard dead as a result.
22)
If it was engine failure, why did Iran immediately raze the site & refuse to hand over the black boxes?

Why did they delay the process for more than six months?
23)
Any claim of the IRGC mistaking the PS752 for a fighter jet or a warplane is ridiculous.

Through the entire process the plane was on flight radars and the IRGC cannot claim human error.
24)
Iran's IRGC Aerospace chief later claimed the SAM battery operator mistook PS752 with a cruise missile.

Reminder:

Cruise missile - 6.25m (20 ft) long & 0.52m (21 in) in diameter

Boeing 737–800 - Wing span 34.31m (112 ft 7in), length 39.47m (129 ft 6in), height 12.55m
25)
Iran also fails to answer why multiple SAM missiles were launched?

Surface to air missiles explode near their target to spray it with shrapnel.

This increases the impact ratio significantly.

Images from PS752 shows clear signs of shrapnel.

The Dutch Safety Board produced this video to explain how the Buk missile system works, and how it crashed flight MH17 in July 2014.

27)
A local took this image near the PS752 crash site clearly shows the control segment of a TOR M1 missile.

Reports indicate authorities quickly arrested the individual who took the initial image.
28)
In Iran, the IRGC—designated as a “terrorist organization” by the U.S. State Department—has such TOR M1 units at its disposal.

(Image from a parade in Iran back in September 2013.)
29)
Iran's Armed Forces claimed the plane was "unintentionally" hit by a military unit based on "human error," and the plane was heading toward a sensitive IRGC site at a dangerous altitude and in the shape of a hostile aircraft.
30)
While Iran's regime claims the PS752's flight path was heading toward a sensitive IRGC site, it is worth noting that four other flights had taken the same path from midnight local time prior to PS752's departure at 6:12 am local time.
32)
On the recording, aired on a Ukrainian television station, the pilot of another plane can be heard saying he saw "the light of a missile" in the sky before Ukrainian International Airways flight PS752 crashed in an explosion.
33)
Ukraine Int’l Airways says the recording provided "yet more proof that the plane was shot down with a missile, and there were no restrictions or warnings from dispatchers of any risk to flights of civilian aircraft in the vicinity of the airport."
34)
Questions left unanswered by Iran:

-Why did they allow civilian flights to take off after launching ballistic missiles targeting military bases in Iraq where U.S. troops were stationed?

-Why did the IRGC shoot down the plane with multiple missiles?
35)
-Why was a second missile launched?

-Why did officials lie for three days?

-Why did Iran delay for several months & psychologically torture the victims’ families?
36)
All signs indicate the IRGC deliberately shot down PS752.

Ukrainian officials have not ruled out such a scenario.

The motive remains a mystery.

All the more reason an int’l investigation is needed on this very sensitive subject & that Iran must release the full report.
37)
Iran's regime must explain why it launched a second surface-to-air missile, killing 176 innocent people on a passenger plane?

Why did you kill innocent children on that plane?

One missile could be an accident (which wasn't in this case). Two is intentional.
38)
And it is interesting to see @Reuters report that Flight PS752 was shot down by a single "ground-to-air missile" & raise the "confrontation with the United States" issue.

Is Reuters helping Iran's regime save face?

https://reuters.com/article/us-iran-ukraine-airplane/iran-calls-for-countries-not-to-politicise-data-from-downed-ukrainian-jet-idUSKBN25J084
39)
The Reuters report is written by Parisa Hafezi ( @PHReuters).

And it is also interesting to see @ReutersIran push Iran's talking point in its tweet.

Is Reuters attempting to distance attention away from the IRGC's horrific crime?
40)
Reminder:

-2007 document, mentioning Parisa Hafezi, shows how the Reuters team needs approval from Iran's Intelligence Ministry to visit the city of Qom.

Is Reuters putting its interests in Iran before the truth? And cooperating with Iran's genocidal regime along the way?
41)
Are Reuters & Hafezi deliberately using the phrase "ground-to-air missile" & not "surface-to-air missile," knowing that "SAM" is a further indication that Iran's military was involved in intentionally shooting down a passenger plane & killing 176 innocent people?

If so, why?
42)
Everything is further explained in this revealing 10-minute video:

“Anatomy of A Crime”

43)
There must be an int’l demand on Iran to immediately publish the black boxes’ report.

Iran must be held accountable for this heinous crime.

We owe it to the 176 innocent passengers & their grieving families.
44)
ADDENDUM:

Regarding Iran’s claim that the air defense unit operator mistook Flight PS752 with a cruise missile, it is worth noting that a cruise missile has a completely different radar signature.

It is impossible to see it as a passenger plane.
45)
ADDENDUM:
This initial investigation is solely technical in nature.

The parties involved in this horrific tragedy can still take judicial action against Iran’s regime.

And I believe they should.
