What's going on in Colombia? Although Colombia has been engulfed in violence for decades, in the last few years since the peace process began, the violence has gradually begun to diminish and give us a sense of hope.
However, since the President Duque (if he can be called that) took office, the assassinations of leaders and massacres have once again taken over the heads of the country.
But these last weeks have been the most critical because there have been multiple massacres, concentrated especially in the departments of Nariño, Cauca, Valle del Cauca and Arauca.
The government of Ivan Duque has been so indifferent to the point that this "president" prefers to see planes land rather than go to the sites of the events and if this is not enough, he promises to build stadiums as if this would end the violence or worse, (+)
he expects us to be grateful that there are only 33 massacres so far this year.
Here are the massacres recorded in the last three weeks:
On August 10, two children, aged 12 and 17, were killed while carrying their homework to school in a rural area of Cauca.
On August 11, five Afro-Colombian teenagers between the ages of 14 and 16 were massacred in Cali as they went out to raise a kite.
On August 15, eight young university students between the ages of 17 and 25 were massacred while they were gathered to celebrate at home near Samaniego.
On August 21, three massacres were confirmed, 5 people massacred in Arauca, 6 in Tambo, Cauca and 3 in Nariño.
These massacres take place in the Framework of a dispute over the drug business, but also over the state's abandonment of the peripheries and the indigenous, black and peasant communities.
So far this year, according to the United Nations high commissioner, 33 massacres have been documented and 7 are still undocumented.
We have a murderous state, which looks the other way and allows criminal groups to do and undo because this government is in business, and for that reason we need your help in sharing this information.
The government of Ivan Duque and the genocidal Uribe want to sell terror to continue in power.
On August 23, three persons were massacred in Venecia, Antioquia.
