It’s been almost a year now and I’ve been able to talk to zero people about what happened last year. And since COVID hit and with all the heightened police violence, it’s been something I haven’t wanted to add to anyone’s stress to vent about.
Almost had a therapist to talk to about it at the beginning of the year, but then COVID hit.
It’s a super sensitive and triggering topic on top of all that which makes it harder to just bring up to someone.
Note to delete this thread later, my partner is the one directly affected and doesn’t need to see this when he gets home.
