1. #Belfast I took a dander around Donegall Square today. Took a few photos.Coming in from Chichester Street on which still stands a Georgian Terrace from 1804,where artist William Conor had a studio in the 1920s.Opposite is Payne’s Building of 1894.
2. Belfast. Donegall Street East. First is the Gothic”OceanAccidentGuaranteeCorporation”building of http://1902.Next  the Art Deco”Imperial House”of 1935,followed by the Ulster Bank which retains the facade of the Methodist Church that was built in 1847.
3. #Belfast Donegall Square East. Beside the Ulster Bank is the survivor of the type of dwelling that used to dominate the Square ,built in 1830.Built for Shipowner John Workman.
4. #Belfast http://DonegallSquareSouth.Now  the TenHotel, this first photo shows an old Linen Warehouse from 1862.The second photo is the”ScottishTemperanceBuilding”of 1904.Was supposed to become the”GeorgeBestHotel”but this project collapsed as Developers were scammers.I told you so!
5. #Belfast Corners of DonegallSquareSouth & West. First photo of modern”NorthernBank”,now Danske,built in 1972.I like it,but I hate the Causeway Exchange opposite. Someone in Belfast planning approved that monstrosity.
6. #Belfast DonegallSquareWest.The magnificent”Scottish Provident Institution”building built in 1902.Baroque Victorian with fish scale copper roofs.
7. #Belfast DonegallSquareNorth, corner of Donegall Place. The”Robinson & Cleaver” building,1888. Previously a grand Department Store. White Scrabo sandstone.
8. #Belfast Built as”Richardson Sons & Owden’s”Linen Warehouse, now M&S store. Venetian Gothic style building of Red Ballochmoyle sandstone built by 1869. It is still magnificent.
