As a Monday afternoon treat, here's some data viz courtesy of @Twenty3sport on Rodrigo Moreno seeing as the rumours are hotting up.
First up a passing network so you can see where Rodrigo has played this season. As you can see, Valencia have largely functioned in a 4-4-2 with Rodrigo playing in the RFW role.
Leeds fans have been talking about Rodrigo as a Bamford replacement but I'm not so sure. He could certainly function as a striker in a Bielsa system:
But then if you look at his minutes per position this season, he looks much more suited to playing in a wide attacking role on the right:
His heat map backs this up:
And his shot map comparison with Bamford suggests he's less a goal scorer and more a goal creator this season:

We've banged on a lot about Leeds looking to increase production in wide areas this season and Rodrigo would fit this pattern: flexibility to be able to play a number of positions and production from a wide area.

If pushed, I'd see him as an option on the wide right.
