I just got this email from the Trump-Pence re-election folks.

(Yeah, I created a fake profile with a throwaway email account just to receive information like this. It’s a filthy job, but somebody’s gotta ...)

Anyway! Here are the highlights:

In addition to the usual lies about creating and repatriating jobs, cutting taxes and “draining the swamp,” there were MORE lies about protecting Social Security, Medicare, reduced drug prices, and pre-existing conditions.

Further, we’re nods to “law enforcement,” “illegal immigration,” and “school choice.”

And folks! We’re goin’ to MARS! Yay!!

But, there are some truly unsettling revelations in this missive — even a nod to (gulp!) QAnon ...

The BOLDED bullet point about “human trafficking networks” caught my eye — because it feeds into the Q’s wackadoodle conspiracy theory.

But the REALLY scary part was in the “DRAIN THE SWAMP” bullet point.

The fine print of that bullet point is, “by passing Congressional term limits.”

This could only be accomplished by a Constitutional convention, a fever dream of the Koch bro’s for decades, since the Congressional terms are enshrined in the Constitution.

A Constitutional convention would rewrite the document upon which our republic is based, and if that happens and the Koch’s get their wish ...?

... my friends, all bets are off and the American experiment in democracy is over!

So VOTE LIKE DEMOCRACY IS ON THE LINE!
