The whole & #39;sexualising the drivers& #39; thing is kinda boring because guess what, people are going to be horny about celebrities idk what to tell you but

there& #39;s a difference between saying something passive and harassing someone/using it as a metric for their success 1/3
Athletes aren& #39;t in the attractiveness industry (which does exist) so while eg: Ricciardo def knows he& #39;s hot, it& #39;s not the yardstick to measure his career on. Which is how it& #39;s often used against female athletes, as though that& #39;s what they& #39;re there to perform in, which sucks. 2/3
And then there& #39;s the other side which is just: people are humans, don& #39;t say gross things about them in public and *especially* not to them. Everyone gets affected by the stuff they read about themselves and by people being invasive. Don& #39;t do it. Indoor voice horny only. 3/3.
Also you can be REALLY creepy and invasive without being sexual and people really need to get more of a grip on that; putting your emotional wellbeing on someone& #39;s attention isn& #39;t having a crush or romantic, it& #39;s being irresponsible & incredibly upsetting/pressurising.
