Listening to @theJeremyVine on @BBCRadio2 right now... I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease a few years ago. It’s bloody awful and changes your life. Basically the thyroid gland goes into overdrive. Lot of support out there but, sadly no real “cure.”

It was the amazing @DrRadhaModgil who told me to visit my GP after working together on a special series about childhood obesity. I just thought I was over worked, tired and run ragged but a simple blood test revealed diagnosis.

I was prescribed a medication called #Carbimazole and thyroid levels balance out over time. Unfortunately... I recently relapsed. #GravesDisease
