The majority of abuse/assault comes from someone we know
We already have been informed that its our fault if we dress a certain way, are at a location, if we drink a beverage etc that we may be bringing out own doom

We are instructed to not trust any man because he could be bad but also not all men are bad so we need to let them shoot their shot or we are being mean and bitchy. We are told to be open to strange men approaching us because maybe they fancy us and why wouldn't we be open to

Finding love at the grocery store? We are told to travel in packs because there is safety in numbers but also made fun of for going to the bathroom with our girlfriends because that's just a quirky woman thing to do. We are told to be visually appealing but not too much because

We can't expect a man to control himself around a woman showing any amount of skin- but if you wear a religious garment that promotes modesty you will be attacked because that's wrong too.
Theres no end to the ways in which we are supposed to exist in a schrodinger's plane

So yeah I got it- be armed but submissive, dress beautifully but not too beautiful, be modest but tempting, be aware but give a chance to anyone, and by telling us all these things you are absolved of facing our realities- you can say you did your part to end the problem
