IPL has arrived and like every single year, like every other die hard fans of RCB, I'm also very hopeful this time. But destiny doesn't care what we're hopeful of. Every season we get handed disappointment. It all starts at the auction table.(1)

I wonder every time how could some great cricketing minds do such fuss at the auction. For an instance, let's talk about Parthiv, who's been with RCB in the last few seasons. He does play few cameos at times, but he has limited abilities and is useless after powerplay.(2)

In the last auction RCB didn't even show interest in players like Alex Carrey, Neesham, Kusal Perera and many more. And they bought Morris for a whopping worth. Only time will say if he's worth of that. They've retained Steyn, who's struggling with fitness and form.(3)

They struggle to form a core eleven each season and put a player under sheer pressure. Shivam Dubey has looked very raw for competitive cricket. He needs to polish his game a lot. So after all these things, the onus remains upon Virat and AB, as always.(4)
