According to uploader Inna Arriana, the man was unable to answer her when she asked for his name. Another vendor in the area said the man hasn’t eaten for days.

"Tinanong ko po siya kaso hindi po siya sumagot, eh. Sabi po ng katabing tindero baka dahil daw po hindi kumakain nang ilang araw na kasi walang benta," said Arriana.

She also said that the man is running out of art materials and can only afford to sell his artworks on the sidewalks.

However, Arriana advised those who would want to buy or donate to him that they do it personally.

"May GCash daw po si Tatay pero hindi po ako personally ang kumuha kaya hindi ko po ma-post dito. Mas safe pa rin po ipaabot ang tulong niyo directly kay Tatay or kung may mapagkakatiwalaan kayo, ipakuha niyo po ang Gcash number ni Tatay," she wrote.

"Frame na lang kulang and it can spice up your boring wall/s. And nakatulong pa kayo sa kanya at sa pamilya niya," she said.
