NEED TO HAVE AN ORGANIZED PARTY POLITICS SYSTEM
By Gbujie Ifeanyi

1 of the bane of our democracy is the increasing indiscipline by politicians, starting from frequent criss crossing, unguarded speeches and outright violent behaviors. This is made possible by several factors
/2
1 of these factors include lack of internal politics. This rared its ugly head and caused the @OfficialAPCNg its victories in Zamfara & Bayelsa states, & its inroad in Rivers state. It also led to issues for the APC in Kano & Bauchi states & almost Cost them Imo & Ogun states.

Is managed by INEC but applied by each political parties such that once a politician registers at a party, it deregister such in a previous party upon approval by the commission.
The effect of this:
a non member of A party cannot determine delegates/candidates of another party
/4
One thing @inecnigeria needs to resolve for the political class is the quality of internal processes in selecting candidates which is causing the commission extra expenses with the plethora of court cases that can be averted.
Presently, the entire Bayelsa election is at risk

The PIN may not eliminate party rascality, but the spirit behind it can reduce wastages currently running high in our democracy.
Once internal democracy improves, it snowballs to the bigger society.
The Rivers & Zamfara experience should guide us on why this review is needed

3. in the long run,it'll streamline our political platforms as we can easily know those qualified for national elections & those not, due to the fact that the PIN eliminates double registration.
Conditions are set to ensure this. It can be linked to NIN/BVN for biometric data

2. With The power given to the real party members will avoid lawlessness by the few money bags and ensure that popular party choices are made thereby reducing the resources wasted by parties & INEC in preelectoral matters allowing more resources to develop our democracy

The @OfficialPDPNig didn't fare better. They were weakened in Imo state, almost lost Bayelsa state and lost grounds in Kogi & Edo states due to issues surrounding party primaries
With 2023 coming, it means more Of these political rascality will prop up & over heat the polity
/6
This innovation (PIN), Enables the @inecnigeria to capture all party (wo)men irrespective of the 100 party platforms they belong to.
This PIN will help determine if these platforms have met the minimum membership requirement by law to maintain their status. The PIN is managed
